Fifty-three products were added to the SRP UK database in January 2019 compared to only 18 products for December 2018. The full year 2018 saw 549 new products issued in the UK market, up 5% from the previous year. Sales volumes, at £1.5 billion, were down 18% compared to 2017.

Thirty structured products worth an estimated SEK331m (€32m) were added to the SRP Sweden database in August. Sales volumes of structured products in Sweden fell by 27% compared to the first eight months of 2017, with the number of new issues down by 29%. Rollover opportunities were good, with 43 products worth SEK597m maturing during August.
