Barclays has hired Peter Ward as head of electronic trading and digital strategy in New York.
In his new role, Ward (pictured) will be responsible for the UK bank’s electronic agenda as the BARX offering. He will join the bank in September and report to C.S. Venkatakrishnan , global head of markets, and co-president of Barclays Bank. Ward joins from J.P.
