The former Morgan Stanley equity financial engineering head in Japan takes over the role at the French bank as the long-serving equity derivatives structuring head shifts to J.P. Morgan.

Société Générale Securities Japan has hired structuring veteran Guillaume Beaurain (pictured) as the new head of structuring for products and solutions that covers across fixed income and equities derivatives under the global markets division in Tokyo, according to a spokesperson at the French bank. The seasoned equity derivatives structurer joins from Morgan Stanley, where he had been the head of Japan equity financial engineering since June 2022 Beaurain reports
