Structured products providers are on the offensive to reclaim money they lost to a government bond one year ago.
On 4 September, a Belgian government bond which seriously impacted sales of structured products in Q3 2023 , matured. The one-year bond raised a record €21.9 billion in September 2023 – making it by far the most successful issuance of government bonds ever.
