In Q2 2024, the number of structured notes brought to market surged by 39% year over year despite a seven percent decrease on a quarterly basis.
Structured note issuance remained stable in Taiwan during the second quarter of the year as the market driven by equity-linked products continued to attract investors. SRP data shows that some 9,100 structured notes were manufactured in Q2 2024, up 39% from 6,552 seen in Q2 2023 . However, issuance was down seven percent quarter-on-quarter compared to Q1 2024 when the market saw 9,800 products issued .
