The new Citi head joins after more than 20 years at JPM most recently in charge of synthetic baskets and structured products trading.

Nuria Paredes has joined Citi this month as Emea head of MSCI index and synthetic baskets trading, according to an internal memo seen by SRP. Paredes has joined the bank’s Emea prime finance team, based in London, and will focus on enhancing the index and synthetic baskets trading platform and ‘maximise future opportunities in this space’.
