Some 6,214 structured products worth THB36 billion ($1 billion) were issued in Thailand during the second quarter of 2022.
Product issuance was down 23% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) while sales volumes were up by 16%. The number of structured notes issued in the first semester increased to 14,308 – up 136% year-on-year (YoY). Sales volumes increased by 25% compared to H1 2021. Some 6,181 notes had maturity dates during the quarter, releasing THB26.9 billion back onto the market for reinvestment.
