J.P. Morgan was the number one issuer group in a month which was marked by the absence of Barclays.
There were 2,630 structured products with strike dates in the US in May 2022. Sales volumes, at US$8billion, were slightly below the 12-month average of US$8.3 billion, while issuance was on par with previous months. Sales volumes fell by 1.8% on an annual basis but increased by 7.3% month-on-month. Issuance increased by one percent from April and was almost level compared to the same month in 2021.
