In a first for the Asian market, Société Générale (SG) has issued four daily leverage certificates (DLCs) linked to the S&P 500 on the Singapore Exchange (SGX), nearly five years after it entered the space.
Available in long and short versions, the DLCs went live on 4 March offering a leverage of five times the daily return of the S&P 500. "Investors in Singapore are increasingly looking to diversify their exposure to the US market using a variety of trading strategies and products," said Marcus Ng (pictured) , vice president and cross asset listed distribution at SG.
