There were 101 structured products (including flow, but excluding leverage and private banking) worth an estimated JPY241 billion (US$2.2 billion), added to the SRP Japan database throughout June.
Year-to-date, both issuance and sales volumes are up 4.7% and 25.5%, respectively, compared to the first half of 2020. Some 113 products that collected JPY279 billion struck during the month. A slight increase compared to last month when 97 products sold for JPY250 billion. Some 73 products matured during June, releasing JPY166 billion back onto the market for reinvestment.
