Although issuance and sales volumes of structured products were slightly up compared to April, year to date there has been a significant decrease in both, according to SRP data.

Twelve structured products with estimated sales of €106m had strike dates in May (April 2021: €93m from 10 products). Forty-seven products matured, releasing €1.2 billion back onto the market for reinvestment.
