Goldman Sachs more than doubled its market share as a distributor group during the first quarter of 2020 with 497 structured products, compared to the same quarter the previous year.
Sales of structured products during the quarter hit US$2.1 billion, making Goldman Sachs the fourth most prolific distributor group in the US, having climbed from fifth place in the first quarter of 2019. SRP data shows that Bank of America (BofA) was the largest distributor group in terms of sales volume in the first quarter of 2019 with a figure of US$2.4 billion for 134 products.
