The Dutch regulator believes it is time for the sector to come up with solutions to make it less risky for retail clients to invest in turbos.
Sixty-eight percent of retail investors who traded in turbos between 1 June 2017 and 1 July 2018 suffered losses of on average €2,680, according to a recent study from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets.
