The US regulator has introduced new requirements to increase availability of issuer information and modernise the rule governing quotations for over-the-counter (OTC) securities.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will introduce amendments to the Exchange Act Rule 15c2-11, which sets out certain requirements with which broker-dealers must comply before it can publish quotations for securities in the OTC market.
