Nine out of top 10 best performing products in the first half of this year were distributed by Okasan Securities, with the products’ average coupon rate per annum reaching almost nine percent. The best-selling product was a reverse convertible note distributed by Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities.

Best-performing products The 昭和電工転換債/EB Showa Denko M20190130 was the top performing product in Japan in the first six months of this year, according to SRP data. The product expired in just half a year with an estimated annualised performance rate at 12.11%. It raised a sales volume of JPY1.39 billion (US$12.9 million).
