Innovation in structured products can be about new solutions or existing solutions meeting new needs, according to Twané Wessels (pictured), product actuary at Just Retirement South Africa. She was speaking at the ‘Product innovation: investment ideas and solutions’ discussion at the SRP Africa Conference 2019, held in Cape Town on March 7.
“Innovation is creativity, but creativity with a job to do,” said Wessels.
