European watchdog updates Q&As on Mifid 2 and Mifir requirements on investor protection, intermediaries, market structure and transparency topics
The European Securities and Markets Authority (Esma) has updated its Questions and Answers (Q&As) on investor protection and intermediaries topics. The regulator is providing new answers on best execution - reporting for firms using a venue’s request for quote (RFQ) systems to agree a trade; and investment advice on an independent basis, under the Market in Financial Instruments Directive and Regulation (Mifid 2 / Mifir).
