BlackRock has launched an exchange traded fund (ETF) for European investors to invest directly in the TA-25, the national Israeli index.
The iShares TA-25 Israel Ucits ETF (Tase) is the first physically-replicating ETF to access the 25 largest companies listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (Tase). The underlying index of the fund, the TA-25 - which is rebalanced semi-annually - places an upper limit on the size of its constituents so that no single company accounts for more than 10% of the total index.
