Four out of the five monthly best-sellers worth a combined US$334m were priced by Canadian banks on the same day.
In October, a total of US$11.5 billion notional was traded from 3,646 structured notes registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), a three percent increase month-on-month (MoM) or a 31.5% climb year-on-year (YoY), according to SRP data.
