Royal Bank of Scotland Bhd (RBS), is launching the second tranche of its Royal Select Series since acquiring ABN Amro’s Malaysia franchise.
The three-year fund offers 100% capital protection with growth linked to the performance of three sectors: financials/banking, telecoms and agriculture (including AT&T, Qualcomm, Verizon, HSBC, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Agrium, Potash and Shin Etsu). The first tranche of the product sold well, according to the Scottish bank.“The launch of the new tranche of Royal Select Series Structured Investment reinforces our continued commitment to making our customers' money work harder for them. One of our distinctive strengths is the ability to share investment ideas from around the world with our customers in Malaysia, and to shape them into investment opportunities, while protecting their capital," said RBS’s MD for Malaysia Harry Naysmith.
The offer period extends until 29 September. Minimum investment is MYR250,000 ($72,500).
