US broker-dealer Incapital has re-launched its Structured Investments Continuing Education (CE) program designed for financial professionals.

Incapital’s CE program is targeted to financial advisers seeking to enhance their knowledge of key topics within structured investments asset classes.

“In an increasingly complex investment environment, financial professionals are expected to be well equipped with technical information focused on strategies, risk information and access to a broad array of asset classes,” said Glenn Lotenberg, managing director of Incapital. “Our CE modules will help advisers bring innovative strategies to an increasingly sophisticated client base. Additionally, the Structured Investments CE program may provide financial professionals an opportunity to satisfy their firm’s CE credit requirement.”

Incapital said it is committed to delivering educational resources and tools that help financial professionals stay abreast of the evolving markets in structured notes and market-linked CDs. The firm said it has been active in educating financial advisers since 2005.

Incapital’s new CE program is an enhancement of prior modules and includes a new video learning format with an interactive course exam at the end of each section. The suite of five education courses cover suitability and risk considerations, principal protected products, non-principal protected notes, volatility, and rates and CPI-linked notes.

Additionally, the new CE program includes a personalised educational dashboard for users to track their progress over time. Completion of the course may qualify for firm CE credit.
