Incapital, a distributor of annuities, unit trusts, fixed income and structured investments in the US, has appointed industry veteran Ken DiFrancesca as managing director.
DiFrancesca will be responsible for expanding Incapital’s relationships with annuity carriers, and further developing Incapital’s annuity product offerings including its index-linked and variable annuities range. In his new role, DiFrancesca will be working closely with Patrick Clifford, who joined Incapital from Sun Life Financial Distributors two years ago.
“My mission is to help Incapital create a wider range of unique and compelling annuity solutions to help advisers meet the income and retirement needs of their clients,” said DiFrancesca. “One of the ways that we will do that is by adding to the firm’s highly regarded list of strategic partners.”
DiFrancesca comes to Incapital after leading annuity sales and distribution efforts at Security Benefit. During his career, DiFrancesca has led the annuity and retirement product and distribution efforts as Fort Dearborn Life, MetLife Investors/COVA Financial, and GNA Corporation.
Incapital’s annuities group was launched in 2012 to provide access to annuity solutions from highly-regarded insurance companies through the firm’s broker-dealer and financial adviser networks.
