The Swiss bank has rejigged its asset management division following the departure of its Emea president Ulrich Koerner as it seeks to replace the head of derivatives distribution for its core market.
UBS Asset Management has appointed Barry Gill ( pictured ) as its new head of investments, following the promotion of Suni Harford to president of the investment banking division. Gill replaces Harford and will take on the role as of November 1, overseeing around US$710 billion in assets under management across traditional and alternative asset classes, including structured products.
