People: Credit Agricole appoints head of investment solutions sales

Carlo Maria Galli, has joined Credit Agricole corporate & investment bank (CIB) as head of investment solutions sales within the bank's global marked division. Galli reports locally to Giuseppe Greco in his capacity of head of fixed income sales, Italy, and globally to Algis Pabarcius, global head of financial institutions sales. Galli joins the French bank after an extensive career in structured products sales at Unicredit where he held a number of roles since 2010 including head of private investor products and public distribution, and head of equity & fund derivatives sales for Southern Europe. Prior to that Galli was also head of equity derivatives sales for Southern, Central and Eastern Europe at Calyon for seven years, having joined the French bank from Deutsche Bank where he was a vice president in equity derivatives sales. Before joining Deutsche, Galli was a trader and equity derivatives salesman at SanPaolo IMI. He started his career as a credit analyst at Citi.
