There were 124 structured products, including flow but excluding private banking and leverage, added to SRP’s Japan database during January.
Compared to the same month in 2020, it translates into a 17% decrease in issuance and seven percent increase in sales volumes. Eighty-four products struck in January, collecting some JPY245 billion (US$2.3 billion) in sales – this is JPY2 billion less than January 2019 and 25% less than last month in terms of issuance.
