Standard Chartered launches Omega Note 2

Standard Chartered Bank in Qatar has launched Omega Note 2, which offers a 100% capital guarantee plus a coupon of 9% in years one and two. In years three to ten the annual coupon is calculated as 50% of the rise of the best-performing of the Nikkei 225 or the DJ Eurostoxx50.As soon as 3% (21% in total including the 18% from years one and two) in coupons has been paid, the product matures and capital is returned. The minimum investment required is $20,000.
