Year-to-date, the S&P 500 Index remains the preferred underlying for structured products in the US market. Between January 1 and April 24, 2018, 447 products worth US$2.7bn were linked to the benchmark index, although this issuance was down by 21% on the 566 products marketed and 25% lower than the US$3.6bn sales volume in the same period last year. The main issuers of these products this year are: Goldman Sachs (91 products), JP Morgan (85) and Morgan Stanley (63), with 87% of the products
