Women are not new. They were invented in July 2007 by ABN Amro, which was acclaimed at the time for its imaginative approach to structured products and saw the opportunity to introduce ladies (the term they used) into the structured products pantheon as an underlying. More precisely, the Dutch bank created a product linked to the performance of female fund managers.
