Kid language barrier forces Dutch broker to halt certificates trading

Degiro, the Dutch online broker which offers over 200,000 European investors access to more than 60 exchanges globally, has stopped the trading in structured certificates and derivatives for which the key information document (Kid) is not available in the local language. The Kid, a three-page, standalone, standardised document, is part of the packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (Priips) regulation which was implemented on January 1.
